Ivanka Trump calls Trudeau to congratulate him

Anonymous White House staff have reported that Ivanka breathed a sigh of relief as Justin Trudeau's Liberal Party won Canada's general election.

"She was glued to the screen in anticipation of the results," said an anonymous source. "When CBC projected the Liberal win, she cheered so loud that even the staff in the Presidential Emergency Operations Center heard her."

Ivanka Trump, obviously smitten by the Canadian Prime Minister, has had heart stolen since their first encounter in February of 2017 when the two were at a roundtable discussion about women in the workforce. Ivanka was caught in a viral moment when she was swooning over Trudeau while she was supposed to be addressing the room. Members of the event recalled that they called Ivanka several times before she got out of her self-induced trance.

Shortly after the win, Ivanka was spotted on her phone calling the Prime Minister and congratulating him. It was noted that her congratulatory call lasted for over 40 minutes. "She was really into the phone call, with nothing but mile high smiles. One comment that stood out was that she was relieved that she would not have to interact with Conservative leader Andrew Scheer. She pointed out that he seemed like a real creep," said a White House staff member.

Sources also claim Melania was listening in on the call, though this has not yet been confirmed by MYT.
